Violet Aitken is an artist based in Cheshire, CT, whose work addresses themes of self-identity through female ancestry and the obscurity of childhood memories through time. Aitken is currently studying at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, and received the Fitzgerald Award in 2023.

After a four-month stay in Florence, Italy, attending the International Studies Institute during her spring 2024 semester, she returned to New England to show in the

 Visual Arts Senior Show at the Bristol Art Museum in May.
